Build Your Own Story Character! (Arts & Crafts Workshop)

Description:
In this hands-on, creative session, children will design and build their own story character using simple arts-and-crafts materials. Inspired by the imaginative world of Kinara Park Kids®, this workshop invites young creators to think about what makes them unique — and turn that into a character they can write about.

Participants will:

• Choose their character’s name

• Design their character’s look using drawing and craft materials

• Identify a special strength or “superpower”

• Create a short story starter featuring their character

This playful workshop blends art, imagination, and storytelling to build confidence and foster creative expression. Each child will leave with their own handmade character and the beginning of a story they can continue developing at home.

Recommended for ages 5–12 (flexible depending on group size).
